Privacy Policy

This policy explains what limited information CalculatingConcrete.com collects, the cookies and third-party services involved, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum and never sell your information.

The short version

  • We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal details to use the calculators.
  • We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. It sets cookies.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data, and we run no advertising network.
  • You can block or delete cookies at any time (see “Your choices” below).

What we collect

The calculators run entirely in your browser; the values you type are not sent to us. Through analytics we collect standard, mostly aggregated usage data such as the pages you visit, approximate location (city/region, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This helps us see which calculators are useful and where to improve.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC), which sets first-party cookies to measure usage. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) and search-engine verification with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools may also process basic request information such as your IP address as part of delivering and securing the site.

A short notice appears on your first visit so you are aware cookies are in use; dismissing it stores a small preference so the notice does not reappear.

Your choices

  • Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculators still work without them.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics. Install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Do Not Track / GPC. We honor common browser privacy signals where applicable.
  • Requests. Email us (below) to ask what we hold or to request deletion. If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.

Retention, children, and changes

Analytics data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above and according to Google’s retention settings. The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. We may update this policy as the site changes; the current version always lives at this page.
