About CalculatingConcrete.com

CalculatingConcrete.com is a free suite of concrete calculators and plain-English guides. The goal is simple: help anyone — DIYers, tradespeople, and estimators — work out how much concrete a job needs, and roughly what it will cost, in seconds.

What this site does

Every calculator turns your measurements into the numbers a project actually needs: cubic yards and cubic feet for ordering ready-mix, the count of 40, 60, and 80 lb bags for hand-mixing, weight, and — on the cost tools — an itemized price estimate. There are calculators for slabs, footings, walls, columns and tubes, stairs, blocks, driveways, and more, plus brand tools and guides that explain the math behind them.

How the estimates work

The calculators use standard volume formulas (length × width × thickness, divided by 27 for cubic yards) and widely used bag yields. The cost tools start from US national-average prices that you can edit to match a local quote. Everything runs in your browser — no sign-up, no app, and all the content works even with JavaScript turned off.

Results are planning estimates, not quotes or professional advice. Always confirm quantities and prices with your supplier or contractor — see our disclaimer for details.

Independent and free

CalculatingConcrete.com is an independent site and is not affiliated with any concrete supplier or brand. Brand names such as Quikrete and Sakrete are trademarks of their respective owners; our brand calculators are independent tools provided for convenience.
